Asphalt Paving

Now is the best time of year to schedule your paving services.

Why? In Spring, our schedule is more open, so we can do the work when you want it done. And scheduling now saves money before material prices potentially rise with demand. It’s also a great time to assess weather-related damage from this extreme winter, and to prevent problems before they arise in the first place.

Challenge Accepted:

When Woodfield Mall needed to repair 900 parking spots without interfering with business hours, our crew of 18 knocked it out overnight. We even found two collapsed sewers and took care of that, too! Don’t sweat it, we’ll take it from here.

Most of Chicagoland’s roadways and parking lots see high volumes of traffic and are exposed to extreme weather conditions, resulting in significant wear and tear. With proper installation and regular maintenance, asphalt paving is a durable and cost-effective solution that not only protects and enhances the look of your pavement structure, but also reduces operating costs over time.

M+J specializes in asphalt paving and resurfacing for clients whose projects range in size from 1,000 to 1,000,000 square feet. Our pavement experts analyze your property, engineering, and aesthetic needs, and then carefully develop a customized pavement plan.

Our projects are always designed with a flexible scope of work that allows them to be completed in a single year or in multi-year installments.

Following a thorough examination of the project site, M+J engineers implement a three-step asphalt installation process:
  1. The project site is excavated and graded, or leveled, to allow for proper drainage.
  2. A base course is added, consisting of either crushed stone or pre-existing asphalt.
  3. A hot bituminous asphalt mixture is applied on top, compacted in place, and cooled to finish.

You find it. We fix it.

We use the latest technology to allow you to quickly identify, report, and get issues resolved before they become costly liabilities.
